From the Chairman

Dear Supporters,
The Illinois High School Shrine All-Star Football Game aims to provide young athletes with the opportunity to compete in a professional environment, all while raising funds and spreading awareness for Shriners Hospitals for Children® and Shriners International. We do all of this to better help Shriners Hospitals for Children® change the world through caring for kids. None of it is possible without the generous support of companies, organizations, and individuals. You are the vital part of the work we do, and your generosity can help children do more than others ever thought possible — defying the odds and achieving their dreams.
Shriners Hospitals for Children® is changing lives every day through innovative pediatric specialty care, world-class research and outstanding medical education. Its 22 hospitals in the United States, Canada and Mexico provide advanced care for children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, it relies on the generosity of donors. Since 1922, Shriners Hospitals for Children® has helped over 1 million kids lead healthier, more productive lives.
Charitable contributions work hard at Shriners Hospitals for Children®, as only a very small percentage of the operating budget is used for administrative and fundraising costs. They are ranked among the “charities that watch their pennies the best” and have received the Independent Charities’ “Best of America” Seal of Excellence.
I look forward to the continued growth of the Illinois High School Shrine Game, and I graciously thank you for helping to make these events possible.
Sincerely,
Eric Tjarks
Game Chairman
