From the Chairman

Dear Supporters,

The Illinois High School Shrine All-Star Football game aims to provide young athletes with the opportunity to compete in a professional environment all while raising funds and spreading awareness for the Shriners Hospitals for Children® and Shriners International. These organizational goals are achieved through this one-of-a-kind event. We perform all of this to better help the Shriners Hospitals for Children® change the world through caring for kids. However, all of these feats are not possible without the generous support of companies, organizations, and individuals. You are the vital part of the work we do, and your generosity can help children do more than others ever thought possible…defying the odds and achieving their dreams.

Shriners Hospitals for Children® is changing lives every day through innovative pediatric specialty care, world-class research and outstanding medical education. The 22 hospitals in the United States, Canada and Mexico provide advanced care for children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate. Shriners Hospitals for Children is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and relies on the generosity of donors. Since 1922, the Shriners Hospitals for Children® have helped over 1 million kids lead to healthier, more productive lives thanks to the supporters who have made this work possible. Charitable contributions work hard at Shriners Hospitals for Children®, as only a very small percentage of their operating budget is used for administrative and fundraising costs. They are ranked at the very top among “charities that watch their pennies the best” and have been the recipient of the Independent Charities’ “Best of America” Seal of Excellence for 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations.

I look forward to the continued growth of the Illinois High School Shrine Game throughout the next few years, and I graciously thank you for helping to make these events possible.
